Anybody with a TJ VRX and extractors installed on a stock VRX.
Does the extractor increase the exhaust/muff noise considerably
or not at all?
Assuming no other mods except maybe K&N Panel Filter.
cheers

Extractors on any car will usually increase the exhaust note.

I was due to have my headers put on on Monday.. But unfortunately I now cant afford it.

yes - pacemakers.
sound changed slightly (a little throatier) but no louder - you only notice it if you listen carefully.

hey jowet how did the pacemakers go on your VRX? Its my next mod and im just curious what the difference was to a VRX compared to that of a normal 3.5

the pacemakers are good - you can feel them kick in really low at around 1700rpm and they are an improvement all the way through the revs. mostly noticeble at lower revs though, its made driveability much better. so yer :D they are worth it.
and no clearance issues or any other problems so far

Do you think they would make much differnce to a stock Verada KH with a standard exhaust? Would it make it louder in cabin? Currently cant even hear exhaust in cabin.

FamilyWagon - It's be foolish to get extractors without changing away from a stock muffler first. (Sports/VRX mufflers are ok though). I've got a lukey LR2779(?) muffler on mine, straight-though design, better performance, and noise wise it's still pretty quiet. I mean you can hear it more when accelerating now, but there's almost no/nill annoying drone when cruising.
