Feeling a bit dunce atm... I have been looking to upgrade the speakers in my TL AWD and went to throw my 6's into the front doors the other day but for the life of me i couldn't get the door card to separate(*see foot on door, hand in hole at the bottom pulling*), i would really appreciate any wisdom.

I'm not sure if TL is different from TJ, but did you unscrew all 3 screws beforehand?

yeah gotta unscrew 3 screws then clips are holding the door card, so then pretty much pull carefully.

Got the 3 screws, thinking that a little plastic jimmy bar would be good, I really pulled hard but was worried i was going to damage something.

You need to pull it off at the bottom first and then it slides up and comes off.

Well you should do the three screws and remove the handle surround, then pull out from the bottom middle or the bottom corners, its held there by press clips. When you get half way there, you may need to lift it gently to clear the door pull bracket.
Then when all the clips are undone lift it out of the window.
BTW, its seems to back together easily, with the window down..

Yeah thanks guys i figured thats all it was but was a little hesitant at the force needed to pop the clips

yeah my TL was the same, thought the whole door card was going to snap...haha
