AMC,

my car didnt come with the service books when i bought it (2 years ago now)
but when i bought it, a major service was done (timing belt esp.)

last service was done at 210,000 which included my transmission being serviced.

now its due for the 218,000 (but its at 220xxx now :( )

is this just a typical fluid top up / change service and checks? or is there more to this service?

Major service last completed @ 180000 (front spark plugs, coolant, b/fluid, air cleaner, oil/filter etc) Next time this is needed is 225000 ,according to mitsubishi anyway. Your car man, service it how you want :)

My TL service book says at 220,000km do the normal oil and filter change plus change fuel filter on carburetter cars!!!(book printed 2004...they must have been short on cash)
