How do yo get the KJ Verada Boot Reverse lights to activate. I've just plugged the harness in and it will work for a wile and then it will just stop. if you take the wiring from the drivers side tail light and wire in to then reverse lights in the boot it will work for a while and then just stop. i've got new bulbs in there was well. i've done a search as well and have found nothing on this
If they work for a while after you plug the harness in then the fault may be in the actual connector or the bootlid earth....your post 'seems' to suggest this to me.
Are you sure the switch on the gearbox is working OK?

I haven't had reverse lights for about 2 years now cause of the KJ tail lights, so it might be worth while to pull it out and clean it

turns out its a problem with the reverse switch, if you move the switch in the gearbox they come on. so now ive gotta pull the pipework off to get to the damm thing lol

does anyone know what the part number is for the reverse switch for a manual gearbox is or if the auto switch is the same
No idea on P/N, KJ boot is plug and play. Mine takes a wiggle to turn on though (if it feels like it), reverse switch is also ****ed.

Go to mitsu with your vin number I was told there was 3 or 4 different reverse switches for the manual magnas

In that case he'll need a Ralliart VIN? Has a Ralliart box in it.

I don't know whether they were right or not but im guessing the 3lt boxes would have a different switch to the 3.5 if any difference at all
