Hey Guys,
i was just wondering if anyone could give me a heads up at all. I have a 99TH 3.5magna and am wanting to do an AWD conversion in it, my first question is
1. is it possible and
2. does anyone know where i could get the rear diff an driveline from.
cheers all

The floor pan between the the FWD and AWD is completely different. The AWD floor pan comes from the Japanese Diamante so was imported and the Aussie bodyshell put on top with EVO VI GTA running gear from the tranny back.
Better off selling the TH and getting a TJ if you want AWD. Cheaper

Just to clarify, there's no such thing as an Evo VI GTA. It's an Evo VII (7) GTA. The AWD automatic transmission is from an Evo VII GTA, but the diffs are from an Evo 6.
As already advised, it's not a bolt in conversion - some bits are unique to the AWD Magna, including the front cross member and firewall.
Some people are capable of major conversion though, so if this is you, then go for it.
IMO it would be much easier (legally too) to get an existing AWD TJ and convert it to look like a TH AWD.

Hmmm. Awd conversion on a 380......that'll be pretty cool.

This is being done or even has been done, the member who was doing it got banned and removed the schematics from AMC.

i really don't think fwd Is something to complain about, better on fuel and quicker then awd... for an NA 6 anyway
Exactly. And a certain FWD ralliart done a 12.8 at the drags tonight. Nothing wrong with traction when done right
