My 380 makes a single honk when I lock it.
Is the honking sound after locking the car a standard for Mitsubishi?
Was unable to source any info through the search function.

In the event the honking is a standard procedure, is there a way to change the sound or to silence it when locking the car.

you need to park your car and go into the centre display and go into the menu options and you will find an option to turn off the horn...
