I will be shortly changing all the lights in my instrument cluster to led globes... is there an easy way to check that the globes are installed with the correct polarity..... i want to avoid putting the dash in and then having to test them all using the controld ie turn on indicators, turn on cruise etc....
it will be a kj blackout cluster i will be doing this to.....

Haven't done the dash lights on a 3rd gen, only a 2nd gen so this advice may not apply and someone else might know a lot better*

You might be able to look at the circuitry on the backing and look to see if either of the terminals at the light socket tend to go to a common terminal which would be the -ve ground. The positive contact should lead to a unique place, that might be one way to help you tell without trial and error.

*(This isn't the way I did it either so it could be 100% wrong, but looking back on it now this is a way I would try)
