Hi everyone. I have a 92 4cyl wagon and i am able to bring home a v6 sedan and get some parts (what i need). then the car will be wholesaled. The donor car worth about $500. I'm getting the tires and mags and replacing it with my tires and hub caps. My questions are :

1. some of the sensors on the throttle body are they the same on 4 and 6 cyl? Mine is running rough and have cleaned out the throttle body with tooth brush. Now run 95 and is better than what it was. Its the when you turn the AC on you think its going to stall. Never does.

My techo stopped working or reading correct as the needle moves but you get a different reading each day. I have to keep the spedo on the v6 but can you swap techo only?


My wagon is in good condition and just at the moment cant afford to either upgrade or spend money on her. Thank you for advice in advance.

Tacho from v6 and 4 banger are different, you will need to open the cluster and swap the tacho over or swap boards :)

So are the sensors the same? I will wait till a 4cyl on comes in then for a techo.
