Just wondering, how hard is it to convert the AUDM front Macpherson struts to the JDM double wishbone? Is it all bolt on or is it too difficult?

i have the multilink setup in my jdm 30M diamante, the front strut top design of the enngine bay is alot different, if you check out my members ride thread i have detailed pics of the suspension and engine bay. Would take alot of work to complete, if not impossible

I just went through all your pics.
The interior seems nicer than a Verada too, really like those armrests that come from the seat, so Euro...
Also I saw the pictures of the double wishbone suspension and I just wonder whether if all the parts are sourced it can be installed onto a AUDM Verada or whether there are key differences where it simply won't bolt in?
Obviously not worth doing unless someone wanted to create an AWD luxury track car

the shape of the chassis strut top, where the upper a arm and shock bolts on is different. Look closely at pics of engine bay. Yes it is very nice and the arm rests are awesome. The multilnk is great suspension, i have owned a adm verada and the jdm car feels alot more responsive and direct, and there is alot less torque steer.

Do you know if the steering racks are quicker on the MIVEC?
The strut tops can be welded out/in.
What about where the top A arm links to the car, is it different to the AUDM Verada?

The AUD version used a McPherson strut setup which only has a bottom A-arm. You would have to fabricate or transfer the mounts.

yes jimbo is right, the shape of the chassis around the strut top is different and its position relative to firewall different. Ill take some pics and measurements for you when i get home.

I am not interested in doing this, just curious mostly.
The strut tops can be cut out/welded in, I was more curious as to whether the AUDM Verada has the bolt holes etc for the upper A arm to go in or not?

How does the power compared between the MIVEC and the 3.5 you had?
Thanks for the pics :)

feels more powerful through the entire rev range but mostly above 4000rpm, it just pulls , much quicker than the old car although that was a 4spd and the mivec is the 5spd tippy
