Can't really do a search as the computers at work take way to long to load so just figured it was easier to start a new thread, anyway. .
Have a 6G75 ready to go in and will be going in soon. Also converting to manual at the same time on my 97 KF sedan. The exhaust that is on there now has been reparied so many times now that its just not feasible to fix it again. I was going to wait till the 6G75 was in before i did exhaust but if possible i would like to do it before the new motor and trans goes in, so my questions are:
What extractors does everyone reccomend with the 6G75 in a magna setup, brands?
From memory the extractors that are used are magna ones not 380 ones?
Will the extractors be any different with auto/manual?
Is the oxygen sensor, cat or anything different with the 380 that i need to have changed?
If i set the exhaust up with dimensions, parts etc to bolt on to the 6G74 will it bolt straight upto the 6G75?
Alot of questions and i do appreciated anyone taking the time to reply
Cheers :)

6G74 and 6G75 should(Please be right!!!) bolt up to the same extractors. If you haven't done the sump mod yet i suggest doing it unless you want to use HM headers or Rpw Shortie headers (They ...... just clear the sump)
If you want new pipes buy a Redback catback exhaust (around $450) and get a new pipe made to go from the extractors y piece to the start of the redback catback (shouldnt cost too much) (If you can use your existing pipe here you might aswell)
If you need a new cat you are looking at around $200 unless you buy a second hand cat.
I suggest the redback exhaust because $450 for a full mandrel bent system is pretty good but you may need to change the rear muffler if you want your car to be louder.

I'm not a fan of removing the better designed sump/baffles/oil pickup in place of an inferior one (which involves drilling into the block - **** this up and you're ****ed) that was not designed for that engine just for a couple mm of ground clearance and more exhaust options. Do it properly and have your exhaust place modify your headers properly to clear the engine.

Just some more information to add:
As long as the extractors bolt up to the same place on both motors all is well lol
Have dual tip mufflers i will be polishing up and using, so it will be a split system at the back if that makes any difference. So from the extractors back will be a custom exhaust all the way through

Considering where your motor will be modified/ fitted - the sump mod will be done, so you can fit any magna headers you choose!

Any reccomendations? ;)

Tbh, stock or HM. Pacemakers will "move" your power up. HM will give you a mild low-mid gain. For the price of magna extractors, you're best staying stock and spending money elsewhere.

I have been quoted about 650 installed for pacemakers so it didnt seem that expensive? I would have thought with an SKR dyno tune the extractors would have made quite a difference
Do you want your extra power at lower revs(HM) or higher revs(PM)?
Do you want to keep the factory exhaust upper heat sheilds?(HM)

Higher revs i think, at lower revs with LSD, manual and 6G75 and im guessing its going to have more then enough power down low. . So pacemakers sound like the go it seems

Forget Pacemaker, they are rubbish, I have welded up a couple of sets including a fairly new set for some of the MMXi guys
I use only HM, for many reasons
As for "superior baffle and pick up" this is not the case in any way, also drilling into a block, so what, if done properly is no issue, I have done over 20 of these and to this day have not mucked a single one up. If a person can not drill and tap 2 simple easy to get to holes then they certainly should not be attempting to fit a complete engine.
The HM will clear, but as I have said over and over again, only be a couple of mm and to me this is no where near sufficient. You will get that heat straight into your sump
BTW< I have moved your engine out of the way for now so for now it will be fine where it is I just dont know how I am going to get it out of my engine bay...oops I mean out of the corner under the stairs when you need it lol

So if i get the rest of the exhaust done before i come there you can chuck the HMs in? How much am i looking at for you to supply them? guessing it would be bugger all extra labour? lol
lol So i don't need to organise storage for it at the moment? and you are joking right? :S
