:nuts:Hi everyone, Im as new as they come, but I would like to ask a quick question about converting Manual windows to Electric.
I havent took the door trim off yet to see, but is the wiring loom pre installed or would I have to install this? Are there any conversion kits or should i just try and purchase 4 new doors and either fit them or gut them depending on quality of the door.
Thank you:facejump:

I'm going to be doing this soon, all you will need is door regulators, door looms from another TJ 1/2 what ever yours is, pull a B piller off, there is a white cap behind the seatbelt halfway up the piller, pull it and check the plug and see if you have more wires on the car loom than the door loom

Rear windows
You will need to replace the drivers side main harness which goes from the front to the tail lights and also crosses over under the front seats, this is the first part of the requirement for the rear windows to work
You will then need to as above check that the pass side has the required wires in the plug for the windows, these are a heavier guage wire and easy to spot, if not there the pass side harness will need to be changed
Front windows, all TJ (well every one I have seen to date) have the under dash wiring needed for power windows. It is simply a matter of plugging in the new door harness to each door, put a relay in the front main relay box and you will be good to go. Now, beware that on the series 1 TJ and the series 2.5 that the pass side was a 2 row plug for the front, on the series 2 they changed to a 3 row plug on the pass side. You will need to make sure that this matches up
I am wrecking a KJ wagon at the moment so this will have all required wiring etc you will need for this conversion, the base kits I sell for $250.00, with the additional side looms this would add $60 (more to over my time to remove these from the car)
