Hi All,
I've got a TH magna and trying to add few acces, but I need to have power line in the bonnet area that switches on whenever I turn the car on, eg the cigarette light power.
Is there any way to do this without having to go back from the cigarette lighter? Maybe tabbing in to one of the wires that come active at ignition near the fuse box?
Any advice or ref to other treads will be much appreciated.
Check for something in the fusebox that is only hot on acc and pop the bottom cover off to tap it.

lol... thats like one thing that wont do what he needs...
What is it that you need to run? Remember you will need to fuse it and consider how much amps you are pulling....the junction/fuse box is the place to go to get the power you need.
what sort of acc are you talking about, things like a gps u can always do what ive done and just solder a 2nd lighter socket to the back of your current one for a 97% hidden look that works

Its for a internal recording camera that I'm planning to install near the front grill. Long story in to why, it's more of testing to see if it works. I was hoping there was picture or wire color coding that would point out the line that comes live at ignition. Didn't look in to installing the fuse, since it seems to be low amp, however will recheck that.
Locate either the hi or lo speed fan relay and then find the hot cable to the relay and cut into that....that's if it's on ign circuit??
EDIT....cancel the above - checked wiring diagram and fans are not on ignition circuit.
