Hi all,
I wired up a new headunit last night as the verada loom that is now in the car had the standard stock unit plug. The unit was working fine until I knocked the cables underneath. :/ :oopssign:
I first had issues with dash illumination and the rear tail lights. Using the ole' search function I found out this a common occurance for many people who wire up new headunits, and needs a new fuse in the parkers slot in the engine bay. Replaced the fuse and the dash illuminations and parkers work - great.
Now my problem is that the trip computer has no reading, the cruise control does not work, the fuel guage is giving a full Empty reading when it does infact have fuel in it and the headunit still doesn't work. I figure it is a fuse that has kicked it somewhere? I've done a quick visual inspection but all looks fine. Has anyone had this problem before? I've found threads about it in the archieve but no solution was posted and the original posters are no longer members of AMC.
Appreciate any and every help.
Thanks! - TheKovac
