Are the headlights on the Magnas switched on through negative or positive? TF Altera if it matters

Tj with paras switches through the positive. If you use a test light you will be able to tell easily

Depends what you are talking about. The stalk on the steering wheel switches on the negative side of the relay coil. The relay contacts for the headlights switches on the positive side. This is the same for the normal headlights or paras.
