Okay if you happen to squiz around this forum you'll know I'm looking at buying a magna as a first car, anyway something I've noticed with the magnas that ive been looking at is the headlight stick/bar/whatevr you wanna call it, is how the hell does the high beam work? on two of the magnas ive looked at, i've flicked the lights on to see if they work and all, and I can flash the high beams by pulling the lever towards me, but it doesn't seem to go forward. Am i not pushing it hard enough? or is there some type of different technology from the usual "pull to flash, push forward to turn on" technology? or am i missing something completely obvious? Thanks guys.

Pull the lever towards you and it'll click on. Pull the lever towards you again and it'll click off.

As above, but for that to work you need your low beams on for the highbeams to come on and stay on.

lol Push it forward hard enough and you will just break the indicator stalk. lol So don't, ok?
As above, pull up to change from low to high, pull up again to change to low again. On some models, I believe, the ignition has to be on for the headlights to come on at all, and the stalk to do its thing. With the lights off, pulling up the stalk will briefly flash the high beam. As a warning to oncoming traffic of some road hazard, like a speed camera. (Illegal to do so I believe)
There is also a time delay on the headlights of the third gens, if you come home at night, turn the engine off, then the headlights, and pull up on the stalk and count (5 sec or more, the longer the better) the headlights wil stay on long enough to get to the front door and unlock it. Good if you live on a farm without street lights. Haven't quite sussed this feature yet.
