Hi guys,
Well as you all know, last weekend I put another engine in my project car, the blue 01 TJ. However, when I was swapping the engines, the P/S pump got wedged between the old engine and the body when removing the old engine and dinted the P/S pump pulley. So I then bent the pulley out to about where it was before and thought that it should be ok. I then started it this morning, held it on full lock and heard a loud screeching sound, so I immediately check the P/S belt only to find that a quarter of the belt had been shredded off! However it was not shredded on the side where the P/S pulley was damaged so I wondered what could have happened. Although it wasn't shredded on that side, I still thought it would pay to change the pulley (that wouldn't be a problem as I would just use the one off my TL wreck which I got the engine from). However I looked at the pulley, no sign of an allen key or bolt. So my main question, is the pulley removable on a third gen P/S pump? Thanks
