Hey,
Just noticed how my KH Xi has some slight misalignment with my air-vents and dashboard. Doesn't quite fit and I think it just looks ugly. How can I fix this?

I've noticed that in various places on my TJ. Can't be helped really.
It's a mass produced car, U R being 2 critical!

While this is not how it came out of Tonsley Park, the car is now over 10 years old thus plastic moves
There is no way to fix aside from replacement with a new one which are no longer available
Its a common problem, and I've seen it worse than your picture....if you find a way to fix it let us know.

My car was like this from new. It didn't bother me much then and it still doesn't and I am ULTRA fastidious, normally. I think you ought to step back from looking at little niggling things like that and see your car for what it is...a superb Verada. As long as the misalignment has no plastic peeling underneath, why worry...it's only slight and I'll be willing to bet that none of your passengers would even notice it.
I'd be more worried about door dings (my pet hate...silly shoppers at shopping centres!!!) and idiotic teens with the urge to "decorate' your paint work with twenty cent coins!

My 2001 TJ's driver's side vent looks the same and has been that way since I bought it in 2003. It's more common that I realised.

Could it be because of plastic movement due to the heat? I think the dash plastic has maybe warped a little in that area. Similar to what the passenger airbag panels do (My dash thankfully has not got either of those issues)
