Okay so I bought the car with this disgusting black mark on my drivers door, thinking I'd be able to clean it off, but I'd tried EVERYTHING!
Suggestions? Its like the only mark on my interior.

As above. Again is what to expect on a 10 year old car
Try either dye or a good secondhand one

I don't think that's a stain mate, the grey dye has worn off. My drivers door trim was like this too before I dyed it. :)

You can get this vinyl repair stuff (which also has the correct vinyl long-lasting colorants as well) on Ebay:

I think Autobarn and Supercheap sell it as well. I helped a mate patch up the seat in his Jeep and it works a treat. Give it a shot. On Ebay it costs around $10 for the kit. So it's a cheap way to end your worries, huh?
If you want to go even cheaper buy a bottle of white and a bottle of brown Meltonian shoe colour change and mix a few drops together on an old ice-cream tub lid until the colour matches and then just gently dab it on to the spot using a scrunched-up handful of tissues or an artist's brush. The shoe colour change stuff is safe on vinyl and is permanent, as long as you clean the surface of the door trim with something like metho first.
Mits died the beige door cards (they were originally gray). The dye has warn through, best bet is to find a matching dye and touch it up.

:bump:
Has anybody found the matching dye for this? Otherwise, I think I am going to have to resort to making something up on a ice cream lid myself.
Cheers.
