Hi all,

Fairly new to the forum and to magnas as well but been enjoyable so far.

I have a 2000 model th wagon and battery went flat as wasnt being driven for a few weeks

Charged Battery overnight and next morning started first go

went to go out next day and when i turned the key lost everything eg lights dash ignition etc

put battery on charge again but nothing working?

could the batt charger have blown a fuse... looked under fuses under bonnet and all good there

Any Ideas

cheers Troy

If the cells have fried in your battery it won't charge, I suggest buying a new battery and seeing if that works before going into the nitty gritty of things

Just a question ,did you disconnect the battery when it was being charged

Have you also checked your battery terminals are tight and clean

didnt disconnect battery when on charge no.... terminals all tight and clean looks like a bit of broken plastic on 120 amp fuse under engine bay but terminal not broken. may grab another battery as well cheers

Then I would say you have done hopefully not too much damage but there is a good chance you have many items in the car burnt you. You must ALWAYS disconenct the battery when charging with an external charger

First place you need to look, engine bay fuse box, there are 2 large fuses near the front, these are the main power fuses, hopefully one of them has blown and there is not more extensive damage

Uh Oh..

Start with the basics.. Check the relays and fuses.
