Hi mate,
I'm not sure on what shops are around your neck of the woods, but when im chasing new seals its usually as easy as going into a Repco, Super Cheap Auto or Autobarn.
I recently helped out a friend of mine change his CV in a TE Magna. Picked it up from repco for $110 (the guy was nice enough to give us a trade discount)
Just make sure you drain the oil out from the CV before replacing it or you are in for a big clean up.
As far as the tappet gaskets and the radiator goes, unless you have a friend that know what he is doing I would say its best to go and see a professional. Especially for the radiator.
If you really want to take a stab and everything yourself, you can get a maintainance book/guide for your car from super cheap. They are usually pretty easy to follow and should have everything you need to know in it.
Hope this helps at least a bit.
And there are plenty of guys I've seen on here that know your car inside and out, its just a matter of finding them or them finding you.

engine mounts approx $100 ea there is 3 of them
Radiator approx $140 new
tappet cover gaskets and plug seals approx $40 ea side
not sure about axle seals wouldn't think they would be to expensive maybe $10 each
Then if you can't fit them your self there is approx 1 days labour to fit everything approx $300.
So approx $500 in parts and $300 labour roughly $800 total .Abit cheaper then you have been quoted.
where abouts are you located might be able to point you in the right direction.
mal ( madmagna) has radiators for 65 each plus postage, u just swap over your hoses and clamps,, purchased and fitted one last week all good and easy to fit despite what ruiner thinks
mal ( madmagna) may also be able to help you with the engine mounts to at a fair price, just send him a email details are in the mitsfix part of the forums
as for seals i just use geniune mits seals, belive it not i pay the same price i pay for them from my local supercheap so why not use geniune
you do have to remove the plenum to do the rear gaskets which can be a real pain if you havnt done it before and i generally swap out the rear spark plugs while i have it off ( remember to use platinums for the rear bank)
you havnt mentioned if your able to do any of the work yourself???

Download the free factory workshop manual: http://www.lisho.net/?page_id=3
Are you getting a RWC to register the car or to sell.....if the former then I would take the car to another mechanic for an assesment (degrease it first!)....at a guess to fix all the problems you list using parts from wreckers should be well under $500.

The workshop manual can be a bit tricky and sometimes uses annoying jargon - I'd recommend getting one of the physical written Manuals for these cars. I use Max Ellery and its fantastic. Lots of pictures and simple to understand instructions. Best $40 I spent for this car!
