So I have pulled the cams out of the wreck I have here and they have S1 stamped on the ends. I have been told they were S2 or S3 so It looks like they aren't. Do they regrind them to be S2 or S3.????

No the cam supplier to MMAU will just make the cams to spec. . S1 are from the old 147kw motor

Cams will be stamped 3, 4, 6 depending on which series they came drom

TJ to TW are number 6

Where else do they stamp them. On the back of the cam ( not cam gear end ) it has stamped S1 that is all I can see on them.???? So do I need to take them too a cams shop so they can dimension them up for me, to tell me what they are.??
