has anyone ever seen the sub facing the rear seat? ihad mine installed today and it was facing the seat,does it make a difference? any advice would be good

try it both ways and see which one u like better

Yep try it both ways.

Some subs give a better sound facing into the boot, others give a more punchier sound when faced up against the backseats.

*shrug* Personal preference really.

ive got mine facing through the ski port. They say you get better SPL levels backwards and better SQ forwards i dunno. jsut easier this way because doesnt get damaged by stuff flying around the boot.

Like rusteh said about the SQ and SPL stuff, thats what it 'generally' is. I tried mine both ways, and upwards and couldn't tell the diff :confused:

you could face them towards the ski port and build a sub box with a perspex window in the back and neons inside :confused:
