I know this thread has probably been posted a hundred times before, which I apologise for posting it again, but I have a few questions.

This morning I decided to let my '00 KH Verada warm up for about 15-20mins as its been sitting in the garage for almost 3 weeks. Was going fine until I drove off and then I noticed a bit of blue smoke coming out the back. I'm assuming this is the valve seals? When away and hasn't come back.
I understand its a 11 year old car and these things happen, so I was thinking of booking it in to get them replaced, as the car needs to last me another 12 months. Its got 100,000km on it (timing belt done), original engine and its been serviced with Mobil 1 full synthetic 5W 50, since new, every 5,000km or 3 months with a new filter every time. Hasn't been thrashed at all, rarely sees the other side of 3,000 rpm and its warmed up always.

Just wanted a few peoples opinions or testimonials about their valve seal replacement. How much did it cost you? I've read on other threads its usually the parts, plus 3 hours labour... Which would be roughly how much?

Also, I've read that getting this done may cause some damage to the head gasket and upset other engine parts? If so, seems not worthwhile and I should just junk the entire car.
