What do you mean, it'll come on randomly or are you saying it just goes on forever if the battery is connected?

The drivers side door alarm sensor used to up occasionly on third gens, theres a few threads about it, and also one recently on the bonnet sensor, not playing up, but not working correctly due to bonnet adjustment.

I don't know if the alarm trips when the circuit is open or closed, but its pretty easy to try out. However, if was the bonnet trigger, you'd have problems locking the car.

I don't have any problems locking the car.
if it's not the bonnet triger, where to find driver's side door alarm sensor ?and how to check it??

I made that bonnet sensor thread after my alarm would go off and piss the neighbours off repeatedly at night.
Basically a strong wind would upset it and it'd go off, and being in an apartment complex and my car on the street I couldn't hear it.
Anyways, I just unplugged the sensor and it went away. The plug is near the washer bottle if I remember.
First test if it is the bonnet sensor though by lightly lifting the bonnet and seeing if it triggers the alarm.
On mine, all I did was put a finger to it and lifted slightly and the car went berzerk.
