I've been looking/seeing a few Veradas and some state low springs, others superlows etc,
But, to me, some look high on superlows and others look low on just low springs.
Is it just me? Is it trick photography? Does the rim size matter?

Dunno about veradas but vrx / ralliart flares make them look lower.

yeah wheel size makes a massive difference. my mates magna looked much tighter and lower then mine although mine was lower. he has 20" where as I have 18"

Was yours lower to the ground, or lowered more?
Because I can see how smaller wheels would get you lower but bigger wheels would look lower at the fender/rear guard

There's 20mm difference in diameter between the stock 15" and 16" wheel/tyre setups (17" are just a bit smaller than the 16") which, in conjunction with the matching springs, makes for quite visible differences in apparent ride height - though actual ride height is much the same.
