View Full Version : Climate Control - Not venting correctly
..GONE..

I've always had my AC set to the top vents and hardly ever use it to go down to my feet.
Last night I chose both up top and down the bottom and nothing happened.
I put it directly to my feet ONLY and it works, but when I put it on both, it comes through the top vents and nothing through the feet..
Any ideas?

The servo that controls the direction of the flow is located on the right hand side of the heater box. You can see it without taking the entire dash apart. I would take off the plastic panels in the footwell and see if it is moving when you select the feet or face setting. Also have a look at the plastic levers to see if they're functioning correctly. If it is functioning then you may have some dirty and/or blocked piping so it may be worth taking them apart and giving them a good blow with a air compressor.
Otherwise you may have a problem with the actual Climate control unit. If you have a Series 2 TJ/KJ then let me know as I've got a spare fully functional unit.
