Dont know when ,dont know how,all i know is ,it isnt working.

What you may ask...the reading on my trip computer that calculates the distance to empty.

All the other setting work.

Is it some thing to do with converting to a manual ?

Is it to do with changing clusters ?

I went from a TH Sports one with the fuel warning light to a std magna one that doesnt have the light..could this be it.??

I noticed on the Magna one ,that ,whilst the circuit is there for the low fuel light,there is plastic film over it.

If i scrape off the plastic to reveal the copper cuircuit and install a bulb,will it work and conversaly ,the DTE reading work,or is it some thing entirely different. ?

The DTE doesn't display if the tank is almost empty. Could this be the issue?

Does it display "0", or does it display "blank"...I take it you've already disconnected and reconnected the battery?

If its blank, it could be the cluster...do you have the old cluster to test it with?

Weird thing,put fuel in ,as you do ,and scrolled through the trip to see if it was working,and it briefly displayed a range ie:270 and then went into flash mode with no numerals...all the other trip function function as they should.

mmmm...might have to look for the old cluster,but ,think i may have thrown it out as it was stuffed....

ANY ONE HAVE A SPARE CLUSTER FROM A TH SPORTS/TJ SERIES 1-1.5 VRX

Try checking the plug on the back of trip computer and specifically the wires colour coded green with yellow a stripe, ensure that it is firmly pushed in and try cleaning the contacts too. The same thing happened to my TF about a week after I put the new cluster in, worked fine then just displayed --.--km for range to empty . I did the above and it started working again.

If needed I have a few TJ series 1 clusters on fleabay

May be a trip comp issue, if you can get one to try perhaps start there
