TE, TF you need to tap into wires for it to work, TH you need to swap looms and will plug straight in, TJ do you have a Series 1-2? . TL TW, apparently the series 2 blackout will work plug and play

Just change the dash over from the same series, nothing else required

Do you have an analogue or digital odometer?

If analogue, you have a series 1; if digital, you have a series 2.
