hi, have a `99 mk triton, and the hazards an indicators dont work , bought new flasher unit and new indicator stalk, still no go.
checked all fuses in cabin and under the bonnet , all good.
for some reason there is no power goin to the flasher unit, an i cant figure out why, turned ign on and moved stalk , i used a digital multimeter , and probed all 3 flasher contacts - no voltage. i pulled one of the plugs off the indicator stalk , and using a short peice of wire i shorted out a couple pins and i can get both of the indicator lamps in the dash to light up, so that bits ok.....

any clues as what else to check ?

as well as the fuses have you checked the relays and what was happening to make these not work the first time
