Simple problem; cruise control is not functioning at all. No green light when I press the cruise switch.

1 - Checked fuses and electrical connections = all good and clean.
2 - Checked cruise control vacuum pump and lines to throttle body = all good.
3 - Checked wiring diagrams for odd-ball things = nothing stands out.

Still no green "Cruise" coming up in the dash. Still no cruise control.

Problem came about after the tippy shifter conversion. Everything else works 100%. No other problems any where in the car. Everything plugged in to a corresponding plug/connection - no odd terminals left over. No magic smoked leaked from any of the jesus boxes.

It should just work right? This is where everybody tells me I've missed something really simple and if I'd have engaged my brain in the first place I'd ave had cruise control days ago.

I'd really like cruise control back, but if its gone (based on the ECU/harness swap) I'll chase another cruise control stalk to modify as shifter for the auto.... after I replace the dead engine mount...

You've prob done what I accidentally did. Did you plug the cruise ECU into the TCL loom?

Pfft, I'm way too smart to make a rookie error like that [runs away to car to check]

Hahaha... Ha... mmm... er, did I say "rookie error"? Because I mean any ody could've made that simple mistake... but it takes a bigger idiot (me) to just not plug in the cruise ECU at all.

Problem fixed and lets all just keep this one between ourselves. Cool?
