A method I've used is to remove the headlining board completely from the car, remove old fabric /glue/foam from board then glue new lining to the board using Selley KwikGrip or similar. This will cost about $20 for the glue and $40 for some fabric from Spotlight - I use very thin felt which is easy to mould over bumps and lumps. The proper fabric with foam backing is available but costs lots more.

Plenty of threads on this forum on how to go about fixing it. In the meantime, a staple gun works a treat. lol

wreckers up here charge 50.00 for a replacement hood lining in decent nick, and their a bunch of dodgey basterds most of them time,

thumbtacks @ 2.40 a box at woolies is cheaper than a nailgun, and @ you can buy fabric to suit from spotlight cheaper than 40.00 if you dont match it 100 or wait for the sales.

with spotlight if you sign up for their VIP card you save something like 10% on all purchases and you can sign up over the counter for this so walk in sign up than purchase :)

Selleys Kwik Grip $20 - $30
Spotlight Fabric, the best stuff i could find to match is $10 a meter. You need at least 2m. I got 3m for $38. Just ask one of the ladies for hood lining fabric, they will know exactly what you need.
Good stiff brush - $5
An afternoon of time and foam dust.

Some auto trim places will retrim your old lining for less than $100. New linings cost a fair bit more, upwards to about $220 plus install.

go to u pull it, $35, rip it out yourself so you know how to do it, and if you stuff it up move onto the next car :) normally you can get it out of a much newer model, just make sure the holes for the lights are the same as it will be different depending if you have an altera, executive, etc.
you can take it home in your magna too without creasing it, just takes a bit of wiggling in.
will look like a brand new roof lining with minimal effort
