so i recently got my 2003 magna vrx limited edition and i bought all audio things due to be fitted soon. i have a new headunit, subs amp and my rear and front speakers.
however i was just wondering what actual size speakers are in this car, i bought 6 inch splits for the front and 6x9s for the back and after inspection it doesnt look like these will fit. this audio upgrade im doing turned out to be a ball buster, just want this all to be over now. if anyone could give me the sizes of the stock speakers that would be great.
thanks

6.5" will fit fine into the standard plastic cup in most cases (depends a little on the speaker design, some of them are crazy big).

However worst case you can take out the stock plastic mount, and manufacture one out of MDF, and then there is more than enough room to play with for your 6.5s in that case.

Then you can mount your tweeters in the standard tweeter mount in the door the VRX LE has. I use hot glue to get them in.

Skip the dash speakers, leave them there so it doesn't look silly but don't put anything in there.

6.5 will fit into front doors normally however i have some people recently bring in cars complaining of buying speakers that dont fit ( wankers imho for not researching ) however 90% of those cases the issue is just the magnets are to deep and some risers fixs the problem

when u state the speakers wont fit have you removed the door trim and attempted a install or are you just holding the speaker to the cover and going " oh these wont fit at all"

@ yellow mitsu post some info dude, dont post useless crap just to raise your post count

For example a friend of mine fitted some DD woofers into his Focus, they didn't foul so much but when the window wound down the rail magnetically stuck to the speaker. :-) So had to space it out to get the big bastard magnets off it.
