I just got a new dash for my car and now I have a working tacho and fuel guage :D :D, so i took apart my old dash because i was interestred on how it looks inside.

ok i give up, howd you do it? I tried with my cluster because i want to get to the clock so i can change the lil light in it but i got the feeling id break the black background or that it wouldn't go back together properly. I want my night time clock back!

once the cluster is out, u will notice the plastic that wraps around the back of it? the thickish white plastic i think it is. u have to take this off... the plastic is only held on by little plastic nodgels that u just unclip. you'll c wat i mean wen u have a look at it urself. u squeeze them 2gether to unclip the plastic sheet.

there will b a few screws u have to take out also to b able to take the plastic sheet off. you'll know which ones to take out. this should help u for the most part. after this, i can't exactly remember how i took everything out. u can tell which screws hold in wat etc so it's relatively simple.
