Hey everyone,


Noob question about central locking remote config and lack of hazards flashing....

so,

I have an ebay remote replacement and I am following the instructions. They are:

1. turn key from acc to on 3 times within 5 seconds and the hazards flash....
2. press key on remote......
3. done.

I do not get hazards flashing. Anyone know why this might be? sorry I'm a noob and havent a clue.

That is the correct procedure . Maybe you are doing it to slow .If it fails to flash remove the key from ignition and start again.By the way if you use the search function there is plenty of threads reguarding remotes.Always a good suggestion to do a search for info before asking questions chances are its been asked numerous time before. BTW welcome to the forums.

Oh and this is also in the wrong section.

Also, 99 would be a TH....

I never needed to turn the key multiple times....

Just put the key in the ignition, turn it "on", hold green button until the dash beeps, take the key out and lock your doors :)
