Cruise control is playing up - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, and sometimes it works then it doesn't.....There's no consistency with when it does/doesn't work.
I had it looked at a while ago, and I was told that they couldn't replicate the fault (obviously a day when it decided to work), so they just cleaned the contacts, but it wasn't long before it started playing up again.
Any ideas on what could be the issue, and how to fix it?

Faulty Dash switch ?
Faulty steering wheel switch ?
Faulty Clock spring Assy ?
Vacumn leak ?
My Pajero ahs an issue with Cruise. Sometimes it doesn't engage. I see the green light come on, then go off. I hook my foor under teh brake pedal and pull it up a bit and voila! cruise works. I have been meaning to adjust the microswitch, but frankly I cannot find it. I know it is under there somewhere. One day.... Meanwhile, I keep hooking my foot under the pedal. It must be the brake light switch causing it.

As I said, had it checked a while ago and apparently all those things were fine.

Interesting - might try this next time it decides not to work (most likely on the drive home)....
