going around the roundabout and some corners, coming from the front sounds like the tyre is flat ( squishy noise) but i get out and check and tyres are all up @ 34 - 36 psi

doesnt happen every time but its annoying as hell when i does happen and is sending me insane

any ideas?

are the tyres physically OK? Check they aren't delaminating.

extreme pic but you get the idea

Squishy noise ???

Does it sound like air escaping? If yes, it could just be your shocks - you'd have to have unusual shocks or far better ears than mine to notice that sound.
I definitely hear it going over speed humps though.

my ears are stuffed :)

nah its kind of like the air is low in the low in the tyre noise i cant really describe it well, and the shocks were replaced with kyb ones about a few weeks ago so i might take it back to the tyre place and get them to just double check them to be one the safe side

dave the back tyres are fine but i know the front ones are getting low ( still legal ) their getting replaced in the new year, im just waiting for the tyre place to have their new year sale they have every year to save a few dollars

Swap that tyre with the spare and see if the noise goes away.

Sounds like your cornering too hard and getting abit of sidewall flex

I had a tyre that creaked - on each rotation, drove me mad! Turned out the internal steel belts had gone rusty and were rubbing together as the tyre deformed where it hit the road. A sidewall bulge or delamination you can't (yet) see can make a tyre noisy too. Replace it before it disintegrates and damages body work.

I'll suggest increasing your tyre pressure to 40psi - that's what I run and prefer the on-road feeling. Much better than 36psi which was just way to soft.

Even if you just do it for 1 day, it might reduce the amount of flex in the tyre and help eliminate one potential source of the noise.

Great idea! That way, if the tyre turns out to be defective, it will really let go with a bang!

Seriously, the wheel needs to come off the car ASAP and get looked at, for the sake of safety.
