Hi all,

I have had a look through the first half-dozen pages of threads but havent found anything yet, so I hope i'm not repeating someone elses question. I have an '05 380 and want to turn off the multi-stage unlock (two presses to unlock passenger doors) in the manual it tells me how to do this using the screen in some models. I don't have this in my car and would like to know if there is another way to change these settings? I know in past cars I have had it is a matter of turning the ignition on and off a certain number of times. is this the case with the 380? and if so, can someone please tell me how to go about it! I HATE multi stage unlocking on cars.

Thanks,

Walkie

nope without the screen (MFD) you cant do it. if you want it changed take it into mitsu, theyll take it out the back plug a spare MFD in, make the change and bill you handsomely for the priveledge. :D. id have a look through the 380 section for other tassie members and see if you can come up to an arrangement with one of them.
sorry for the bad news!

Did not know you can plug in the MFD into a 380 without one as the harness is totally different as is the plug on the end.

I was under the assumption that you have to change the complete dash harness in order to use the MFD in an ES range, would love to be shown otherwise lol

series 1+2 you can borrow. series three is like mal says... and you are out of luck.
given you are an 05er (hifive :P) you will be able to borrow the mfd.

Ok, thanks. I'm pretty buddy buddy with the local mitsubishi dealer, so I might just see if they'll do me a Favour :)
