Looking for a bit of advice/help.

Just wondering if anyone has ever taken the auto shifter knob from a 3rd Gen and put it onto a 2nd Gen ?

Does it fit ? Is it hard to do?

Reason behind this is i just purchased a Nardi woodgrain knob from the KJ GTVi Verada and would like to put it on my KS Verada.

I know i may lose my Overdrive button but i'm not too fussed by that.

I think you've got a better chance of fitting the whole assy lol. The shifter knobs are not even interchangable between early/late third gen autos.
