Hi,
I have recently started having an issue with my 97 TE Magna (V6, Automatic)
When the engine is warm and I come to a stop in traffic the revs become inconsistent and fluctuate from 750rpm - stall, occasionaly it will drop to around 100rpm then jump to 1500rpm and level out, but most of the time it will stall.
Battery light and engine light will come on, but it stalled, so thats expected

It is an intermitent problem, but is currently not reliable enough to drive into the city every day for work

It had a new battery about 3 months ago, has a small hole in exhaust after the Cat

I have cleaned the Idle Control Motor & Throttle Body and checked the vacuum hoses, but it still appears to be doing it

Does anyone have any ideas?

Try replacing the ISC. Cleaning it isn't going to help much if its dead :)
