Great idea.
At least your car appears to have a rear swaybar according to the workshop manual.
However based on my experince with an early AWD, mitsubishi certainly do not put in suspension components that are optimised to improve the handling.
I had a KS wagon some years ago. These do not have rear swaybars.
A local suspension shop in Blacktown recommended a rear bar as the best bang for the buck first change.

Made an enormous difference.
Do this then look at putting increased castor bushes on the front control arms, also as you have lowered the car maybe fit camber adjustable pins to the front suspension.

I had a look at this a while ago, the third gen wagons all have swaybars. Whiteline no longer sells them though unfortunately. If you were going to get some customs made up I would definitely be in.

Google is your friend.
There is another supplier in Sydney.

But not sure if they do Wagon swaybars.

A fella in miranda south of sydney mentioned making up swaybars himself. He was a tech at one of the major suspension manufacturers long ago

Shagwag,
You ought to improve your reading skills.
I posted a direct link to a swaybar catalogue that has 3rd gen wagons listed.

I'll be looking at getting a rear sway bar for my wagon also.

Let me know how you go pwn3d.

Hey Dave was the fella in the Caringbah/Taren Point area, and was he the one who replaced your suspension few years back?

I used him about 15 months ago and he mentioned to me at the time a guy he shares his workshop with can make any swaybars up for custom jobs!
Think the suspension guys name was Rob?

If no luck elsewhere, we may be able to get a small group batch done if there is interest.
