Okay well i bought my 2002 magna executive about 3 weeks ago and the CD player didn't work so a mate was intalling my new head unit and decided he was gonna put his old sub and amp in it for me.
WELL!!! he decided to drill a hole in the passenger side wall and drilled right into my return fuel line... (I cried) so we called another friend and he placed a 8mm fuel hose over it a clamped it so no more fuel leak... But since that happened my baby is running so badly she's jolting she gets a bad birning like smell whenever i turn her on and where the gear shift is, is heating up really bad :roflwtf: Does anyone know what they did to my baby??? :eek2:

P.s Also while he was installing the new head unit he blew a fuse but we replaced that dunno if that would affect it??

some dodgey friends you have there, keep them away from your car in the future

first things first get the fuel line fixed properly

2nd have a shop or someone who actually knows what their doing recheck ALL the wiring this may cost you another 100.00 HOWEVER as one of the biggest causes for car fires in poorly installed stereo's i belive it worth the cost NOT autobarn or supercheap auto a proper shop if you go the shop method

3rd the reason he blew a fuse if because he didnt remove the posative battery terminal before working with the electrical system ( dumb mistake ), the fuses job is to stop that electrical surge from spreading and it done it's job well.
