I am having trouble removing the front left hand door panel of my 1996 TE in order to replace the left side exterior rear view mirror. I have removed two screws and most of the perimeter plugs but there appears to be one or two hidden attachments that prevent me from taking off the panel. What am I missing

Wooo Uppp there Mate.....
Get on the outside of the car, twist the mirror 90 degrees on its mount, and you'll see the bolt heads that hold the mirror on.
No need to take the inner door card off.
But for the door card, there is one inside the door pull, one behind the handle, its shrowd need s to come off too, and there's one up the front, in the door cooling vent circle thing.
I've got electric mirrors, not sure if yours differs....my plugs are accessed from the outside

Well, mission accomplished. Took about 30 minutes, half of which was spent in getting the electrical connection apart. Thanks for the advice. I was acting on other suggestions that the approach from inside the door was required. Thanks again "Shoot" and have a great Christmas.
