Hey guys, ive got a TJ series 2 Executive 3.5l Manual.
Ive currently got extractors, hi flow cat, 2.5inch pipes and a performance exhaust. Installed by rapid exhaust in wollongong.
Just wondering what ideas, anyone had for good suspension that will give me better traction, as my car can slip like crazy sometimes. I can still spend just over 2 grand on the car, any ideas?

A quick search would reveal king lows/lovells/dobinson springs and Kyb/boge shocks as decent and affordable options.....

Suspension upgrades ideas - concur with the links above.
But if you have 2 grand to spend - upgrade your brakes too. The ability to stop is widely overlooked and hugely underrated. Have you got rims that are 16's or bigger? $350 bucks and you can get your hands onto some [awsome] twin-piston brakes of a 380. Its only off the base model, but the 380 ES has some awsome stopping power.

Decent tyres.
go to something sensible like 17's. But premium tyres at $200 a pop.
With sensible suspension mods.
First rear sway bar.
Then lower, do camber front and back. Castor front bushes.
Foloow mals advice. Boge are good, but believe me Koni's are better.
If in doubt find someone local who has a modified car and get a drive to see what co-ordinated mods can do to transform your car.
Comment about brakes is spot on.
But good brakes only shine when you have sufficiennt grip.
Good handling and brakes can overcome a lot of horsepower.
Go back to the old days in racing and see how Minis and Lotus Corintins can harry big american iron.
Brakes and suspension in an everyday car will give you more pleasure than outright grunt.

An LSD will help grip more then anything, but apart from that just lower it. If you are on standard exec bodykit go superlows. will look cool ;)
