Got my verada and thought i'd throw a little bit of money at it, any ideas for mods?
I don't want the car particually loud, and someone said it's a waste getting the exhaust as it's already a 2 and half right threw. So what should I do, look at?

Pacemaker headers ($550 installed) and K&n panel filter ($120 DIY)
King Springs lowering ($250).

Car has sports shocks, springs and 17's fitted 3 months ago, so the suspension is gr8
So if I get the headers should I keep the existing exhaust?
Maybe I could just change the muffleer

Yeah just a muffler and headers change is good.

If I keep the original muffler but get the headers, will the cars tone be any louder.
I would like a bit more noise, but not to excessive. Something similar to a VRX, a note you can here but not something which is irretatting.

Could anyone also tell me is it worth upgrading the exhaust if going for headers?
Or maybe just the cat back. Can u just do the headers only?
Does the KF Veradas come with a 2 and half inch exaust, I had a look under the car and it certainly looks like it. If anyone could assist it would be appreciated.
I want to get these mods done a.s.a.p.

for $400 installed you should be able to get a nice redback cat back system

i did it, got heaps more power, and a nice sounding exhaust.

I'm with Bain.. headers, new air filter.. but change the muffler instead of the springs. Unless you do a muffler swap you'll be robbing yourself of much of the power your new headers would bring you... this is assuming you've got the crappy twin tip mufflers from the lower models.

Definitely lower it. Gotta get rid of the 4wd height. Then put in a rear sway which will firm up cornering so much better. Then put in a new muffler and K&N filter. Note that your standard shocks will not last long with lowered shocks and you will need to replace them sooner.

Thanks for the all the help. Will re-post when I get the stuff done.
The car has done a 100 k, but at 95 k the car was lowered, with new shocks, springs and were put on 17's running on 235's. Approximately $2800 spent, at no cost to me.

if you get headers, the exhaust will get a tad louder.

i'd suggest a strut brace or panel
