Hi all, I tried the search query & best I could find was somebody has installed "chip style" T10 LED bulbs in blue, but I was wondering if anyone knows where I can buy these in a bright white, that gives the cluster a good, evenly spread lighting? I bought cheap LED's from autobarn and they looked terrible. I'm in Toowoomba QLD. I've attached a pic below from one I found on the forum a few years ago:

i bought some t10 and varient bulbs from autobarn and repco a week and a bit ago. and you can get them from SCA
ranged from $10 right up to $25 depending on what brand and how many leds you are after
i did buy some leds that were on a board that did come with an adaptor that could allow them to be used in almost every sort of interior car bulb.

i used that brand and type of led in almost every spot in the car, besides the dash, and they come in a variety of colours

Ive just installed the same Supercheap Auto LEDs - the best one to use for even light will set you back just over $20 bucks. Dont get the $9 pair as they have 4 small leds and leave dark spots all over your cluster.
I (finally) get my internet speed back again tmoro, (hit my monthly limit) so I will post up a photo or two of the cluster (and the rest of the interior as I changed the HVAC, ashtray, ciggie lighter and trans globes to white LEDs as well (which are T5's).

Ive tried about 4 different types of T10 LEDs from from ebay, and will comfortably say that the $20 SCA are the best ones to use.

Thanks for the replies guys. I did an ebay search but most of them look pretty cheap & could be just a gamble so I thought I'd see what experiences others have had. One of the SCA shops I looked at here only has the normal T10 globes in two brands but I'll check out the 2nd shop and see what they have. Cheers again. Will be interesting to see your pics Mitch!

Welcome to the club!
Do you know which brand they were? I see there are many different styles of LEDs out there, some have heaps of LED's on the single unit others just have one inside the bulb itself

I had blue, but I found it too hard to read any dials. But the coloured LEDs dont seem to have hot or dark spots like white LEDs. Weird.
And I will post a pic the previous types of LEDs that I tried, and the new ones that i'm currently using. SCA didn't have enough of the good ones last weekend, and I was counting on them to have restocked again so I can install them and post a pic - but that wasn't the case today. Just will have to try the SCA near where I work on Monday. LOL atm I have a well-lit side and a crap side of my cluster.

Here are the pics as promised. Got around to getting a few more LEDs. With the amount of time and money ive spent on LEDs for my dash alone - I can say thse are the best ive come across so far and I wont be pulling out the damn dash or cluster again to change them!!
White-backed LEDs are some of the Ebay examples ive purchased. The 1st LED didn't last long at all, the 2nd one didn't spread the light well (for cluster use anyway, have now installed those ones in the doors), and the big-bulb like 3rd LED just wasnt that bright at all. The two black-backed LEDs are the best ones I have come across so far (from SCA). Currently going for only $15 But im sure I payed $20 plus at the store near home....Aerpro brand.

What I have noticed with the Magna cluster is a dark spot from the 60-80ish kmh mark. And its a touch brighter around the 0-50 kmh. Normal globes seem to spread light more evenly, but I dont think that the picture shown in the OP is fitted with LEDs - too yellow in colour.
