Hey has anyone resolved issues of tyres rubbing vrx flares? Half of the metal clips are snapped off mine and damaged the flares. I plan on repairing the flares but if I use the same metal clipping system it'll just damage again.

Has anyone resolved the scraping without modifying ride height? My car rides lowwww.

my ralliart flares have been bonded on with a generous serving of sikaflex

Trim the top of the flares with a dremel or something similar. The flares will still be held in place by the screws/mounts at the bottom. You'll need glue or tape to hold the top of the flare in place though.

Or if it's a VR-X, you can just take them off - it's what I did.

Hrm, as much as I don't like the idea of gluing them on.. Cutting the lip off them sounds like the best way to stop scraping.. Might have to go down this path!

If it was me, I'd just use double sided tape. Like I said, they'd still be secured with screws at the bottom of each flare. You just need something to stop the top of the flare from jiggling about.

Hey woob, I used a flap disk and sanded most of the bottom under lip away, bea utiful

Flap disc is a good idea for a nice smooth finish. And I'll try to track down some hardcore tape to stick them on with.

Vlad, did you apply the tape to the rubber seal around the flare or the flare itself?

If you trim the flare carefully you can glue the bit you cut off directly under the lip of the gaurd and modify the standard clips to hold it all together. Worked for me
