has any one foynd an eazer way to remover the lower front control arm bush besides deforming it completley?

I havent found one

using a press is not a good idea
easy to bend the lower control arm

if you dont have an air chisel

a hacksaw and lots of blades is safer

I try to cut out the inside metal spacer from the rubber
then attack the metal keeper
making sure not to hacksaw the control arm itself

as above . i used a heated knife to remove the rubber centre , then two cuts on the shell about 2cm apart and you can easly collapse the shell .

yer used petrol and a match to remove the rubber :P pryo maniac, yer that is a cleaver idear thanks
