3 bolts hold each handle to the frame.
Then there are the two rods that actuate the lock / opener.
take note of which rod goes where on the handle, and then they unclip from the handle, turn the coloured rod holder OFF the rod, and it will enable you to remove the rod from the handle.
Then reverse to lock the rod onto the new handle / lock.

Thats how I did a mates whose was broken on a TJ VRX (Swapped a RH Rear one for the broken RH Front which was broken where the rod lock / coloured holder is)

need a hand, I also have spare clips if they get broken in the process.

3 screws hold each handle to the frame.
Then there are the two rods that actuate the lock / opener.
take note of which rod goes where on the handle, and then they unclip from the handle, pop the small clamp that grabs the ridges on the rod, turn the coloured rod holder OFF the rod, and it will enable you to lift the rod from the plastic clip where the rod ends.
Before you reattach to the door with the screws or reclip the new ones, leave the skin off, close the door with window wound down, easiest from the outside, hold the handle in position and reclip the clip so they sit flat against the door, so they dont sit out like your frh does now.

Thanks for you help Andrew, its now a team effort.

You say Screw, I say Bolt - its a device that holds things together! hahaha

I am not very technical at this - the thing with the thing with the whatsit attached to it :D hahahah!
I am sure he will work it out - there was a gist of it there, just a couple of the terms are wrong (screw VS bolt)

Tech def:

If it needs a screwdriver its a SCREW.
If it needs a spanner its a BOLT.

/end tech lesson.

Yes, that's a hybrid design. In the factory they use a magnetic philips head torque set screwdriver to pick one up and wack it in, quick and simple. Try to get one out with a philips head screwdriver though, and you just strip the slots, so you use a 10 mm spanner or socket. So its a SCREW going in, but a BOLT coming out. Simple.

They are bolts. Just has the hex section on the inside, rather than outside. I find a piece of Allan key to fit, and put a socket on the end.
Head bolts on the TS V6 are like that, IIRC. 10 mm bar, 10 mm socket.

We use them a lot at work, and call them socket head cap screws. Except having a set thread, I would call them bolts. Usually anything with a precise thread (metric or imperial etc) that fits a nut I would call a bolt, and anything with a coarse self-tapping thread e.g. wood screws, sheet metal screws, tek screws, I would call a screw.

Door handles: Keep pulling the trim apart till you can remove the door handle assembly, be careful with the small plastic clips where the locking rods etc attach, they are easy to break if you're a bit rough with them.

Fair enough on the bolts/screws.

The clips are easy to break, as you say. The order is:
Unclip the locking bit of the clip from the rod.
Lift the rod out of the clip.
Clip stays on the handle until it is off the car.
Transfer the clip to the new handle if needed. Squeeze the bits holding it on together. This is when they break sometimes.
