Ive had my TJ S2 VRX. For over 3 months now and I thought I would just share some thoughts on it.
I'd been looking for a TJ sports or VRX for a while to replace my trusty old TE with over 300 k on the clock. I wasnt at first keen on the body kit of the VRX and would have settled or the more conservative looking sports.
The car is not my daily driver it's my wife's. When I do get to drive it, it continually impresses with its blend of comfort and performance. The big V6 has just so much torque that you can just cruise around in the higher ratios and just let the torque do all the work. Handling wise it's just a finer instrument than the old TE, it just loves carving up corners.
The steering was the only negative, vague at the straight ahead with little feed back to what the front end was up to. I just had all 4 wheels aligned and the difference is a revelation. I can feel what the front end is doing and really take advantage of the big levels of grip afforded by the 225/45R17 rubber.
The VRX is definitely one underrated sports sedan.
