Hi all,

I have aquired a damaged Verada AWD (KJ2) and as I know the history of the car, I plan to take advantage of some modifications made, and transplant them into my car.

In short, come timing belt change for my KH, I want to pick up an engine, and put it straight in.

The engine in the KJ is fine (side door impact) and has 380 heads, ralliart cams, 380 injectors, and a fresh timing belt kit on it along with seals etc etc. Sadly I am unable to keep the EZboy hi flow throttle body as I have TCL and it doesnt.

The exhaust, is HM AWD headers, 200CPI cat, and a mandrel bent cat back free flow exhaust with a TJ sports muffler. All this is less than 5000klms old.

Would all of this be able to be installed in my FWD KH?

Cheers for any help.

Mike

Hope this isn't the car I'm thinking off :/ Everything apart from the transmission can be transfer over. Exhaust is the only thing I'm unsure of.

Sadly mate, it is the car you are thinking of.

But it will be safe in my hands, as I personally installed heaps of the mods!

Parts will be for sale when I sort it all out.

If your just swapping the engine then it should drop straight in
The only concern would be the AWD headers as I think they are alittle different from the FWD ones

Cheers guys,

I have since begun to learn about the heads being unsuitable for use due to compression loss.

I think though, some of the items will be just brilliant in my engine, cams, etc etc.
